Sugimoto’s Hojicha is crafted from high-grade Kukicha and Sencha harvested early in the season, rather than the typical late-summer Bancha. Roasted at high temperatures to a rich, toasty brown, this tea releases a warming aroma and naturally sweet, rounded flavor.

Gentle and comforting, it is a refined choice for the evening or any quiet moment, with a smooth, mellow character. The tea can be steeped multiple times, revealing subtle layers of roasted warmth with each infusion.

For ease and consistency, this tea is offered in convenient pyramid sachet tea bags, designed to give the leaves ample room to unfurl while brewing. Each sachet is made from plant-based Soilon®, a biodegradable material.

Each pouch contains 20 compostable sachets, individually sized for a 12 oz cup, and packaged in a resealable foil pouch to preserve freshness for daily enjoyment.
